An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Knickerbocker Buckaroo, the 1919 Albert Parker silent romantic cowboy western adventure thriller (about a man who heads west to seek out adventure; he meets a man who turns out to be a Mexican bandit on and he unknowingly helps him, only to be mistaken by the sheriff as the bandit himself; after being chased the man sees a pretty girl in jail and willingly is arrested so that he can meet her, and he helps her expose the sheriff of the town as being corrupt and after the man and pretty girl fall in love and marry!) starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr. (in the title role as Teddy Drake), Marjorie Daw, William A. Wellman (the famous director in an acting performance!), Frank Campeau, and Edythe Chapman. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned eleven lobby cards, a glass slide, and a single still from this movie, and NO other movie paper. That still has now been reconsigned to us, so it is still the only one we have ever auctioned! Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and a few very tiny tears around the edges. Note that there are white areas in the corners that look like they COULD be a defect of some sort, but they are NOT. They exist on stills from silent films that have this sort of black border around the edges. It appears that stills of this sort were made by actually blowing up a frame of film, and perhaps those white areas are some sort of sprocket holes.
