An Original 1961 (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 76" [140 x 193 cm]) (Learn More)

the international theatrical release of Texas John Slaughter, the 1959 Harry Keller cowboy western (edited from episodes of TV's "The Wonderful World of Disney"; "A legend in name! A legend in action!"; "He was the toughest of the rugged Lawmen called The Texas Rangers!"; "A True Hero of the West") starring Tom Tryon (as Texas John Slaughter), Robert Middleton, Norma Moore, Harry Carey Jr., Stephen McNally, Sidney Blackmer, Bill Williams, and John Larch. Note that this poster advertises a theatrical release edited from episodes aired on TV's "The Wonderful World of Disney", also known as "Disneyland" (this was a wonderful weekly anthology TV show which was on for decades, and which, much like Walt Disney's Disneyland itself, had rotating episodes that dealt with themes similar to the park's different areas, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Adventureland). There were seventeen episodes of "Texas John Slaughter" aired on this show, but we cannot pinpoint which episode(s) compose this theatrical version. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
