What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had a few scuffs in the solid black areas at top and a crease in the purple below Perkins' credit. It otherwise had very minor fold and border wear, with tiny paper loss in the fold in the center of the "P" of the title. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. After the poster was backed, it unfortunately acquired light brown staining around the edges, in the excess linen and also in part of the edges of the poster. It is also in the white background at top left and in the left of the title. The new owner of this poster will have several options. They can "live with it" as it is and display and enjoy it, or they could have restoration performed, with or without re-backing it. However, bear all this in mind and look closely at our super-sized image before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
