Invisible! Insatiable!"; "Something is happening! Send your men of science quick! The panic stricken cry went over the phone to Washington D. C. until the lines went dead!......."; "Colliers's Magazine called it 'The nightmare that threatens the world!'"; "Based on the Collier's Magazine Serial by Jack Finney"; about aliens invading Earth by replacing people with alien counterparts that grow as pods, and then take over the person's identity when the person falls asleep; one by one, a town is taken over, and the few remaining unaffected people try to stop them and get the word out, but they are stopped at every turn; most people see this as a thinly veiled parable of the activities of the House Un-American Activities Committee, which found "Communists" behind every door in Hollywood!; others protest that it greatly borrowed the plot of Robert A. The poster has some minor wear on the folds and many light vertical creases and smudges scattered through the rest of the poster with smudges and small tears in parts of the borders.
