Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, with a 6" tear in the top right corner and some small tears and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but it seems that after it was backed, it acquired surface paper loss scattered in the blue background areas. This could be touched up by a restorer without re-backing the poster, but bear in mind this significant defect before bidding on this poster.
