An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Beyond the Time Barrier, the 1959 Edgar G. Ulmer science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("A spectacle of the world of tomorrow!"; "Fantastic sights to stagger the imagination!"; "Adam and Eve of the Year 2024!"; "Only they could re-populate the world!"; "The monstrous revolt of the mutants...destroying everyone in their way!"; "The unbelievable journey through time and space!!"; "The science shocker that is a nightmare of reality!"; "See the World of Tomorrow!"; "You are there in the underground cities 2024 A.D.!"; "Trapped! ...in the incredible cosmic world that moves 100 years beyond time!"; "The cosmic world that moves 100 years beyond Time!"; "The science shocker that is a nightmare of reality!"; "See the world of tomorrow! You - will rocket through the fifth dimension! You - will see sights to stagger your imagination! You - are there in the underground cities 2024 A.D.!"; "Original Story and Screenplay by Arthur C. Pierce" ) starring Robert Clarke, Darlene Tompkins, Arianne Ulmer (billed as "Arianne Arden"; she was the daughter of director Edgar Ulmer, who only appeared in a few movies!), Vladimir Sokoloff, Boyd 'Red' Morgan, Stephen Bekassy, and John Van Dreelen. Note that this is an unusual movie! It was released in 1959 by MCP (Miller-Consolidated Pictures). Later in 1959, American International Pictures picked up the distribution rights and released it in 1960 with all new poster art. Most collectors think of both releases as original, although technically the MCP release is the very first. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few minor border defects but overall it is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
