Wellman historical aviation glider inventor biography sentimental romantic melodrama ("A story shining with the glory of the sun, wind and stars!"; "A wonderful love story..."; "Original screenplay by Byron Morgan and William A. Wellman"; "The story of one of the world's most exciting adventures!"; about a man who both invented a new type of glider airplane, and also a gold separating machine, and his great love for a lady) starring Glenn Ford (as John J. Montgomery), Janet Blair, Charlie Ruggles, Henry Travers, and Jimmy Lloyd

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: fine. The slide and holder are in about as good condition as can be expected (there is just slight aging to the holder). See below for a scan of the slide and a separate scan of the holder.
