Carmen, the 1993 German stage play production (of Georges Bizet's opera) that was held at the Oper Chemnitz in Chemnit, Germany. Note that this poster features wild art of a man and woman. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that silkscreen (also known as screen printing) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a poster. Only one color is printed at a time, so several screens must be used to produce a multicolored design, and it is a laborious technique because it is traditionally all done by hand. Because of the rich thickness of the layer of color on the paper and the resulting depth and brilliance achieved through silkscreen printing, this technique was preferred by many artists throughout many cultures and periods.

Condition: very good. There is a label on back at upper right but it has little or no effect on the front. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
