Some of her movies include: Abbott & Costello Go To Mars, She Devil, McLintock!, Twice-Told Tales, On the Riviera, The Unknown Man, and Something to Live For. Note that Blanchard's looks and 36-25-36 figure became the inspiration for cartoonist Al Capp in creating his voluptuous character "Stupefyin' Jones" for the popular "L'il Abner" comic strip! She passed away in 1970 at the age of 47 from cancer. Important Added Info: Note that these stills all feature a specific actor or actress (sometimes portraits, but often in a scene from a movie that they were in). They come from the collection of Ken Jones, who was an author of many books about old-time actors, including many character actors.
