Victory Begins at Home!, the 1940s U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("U.S. Navy Dispatch - To Fellow Americans Ashore: The only way to win this war is to go in there and slug... all of us.. all the time. Your job is your battle station! Stay on it every day! Make every minute count! -Admiral Ernest J. King USN Commander in Chief... US Fleet"; "Produce for your Navy") encouraging worker productivity, and featuring art of an American plane dropping bombs on a Japanese aircraft carrier. We know that this poster dates from either 1942, 1943, or 1944, because Admiral King was only an Admiral during those years, but became a Fleet Admiral in 1944.
Artist: Jon Whitcomb
