Bradbury cowboy western starring John Wayne, Sheila Terry, Jack Rockwell, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Jay Wisley (billed as "Buffalo Bill Jr."), Yakima Canutt, and Gordon De Main NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very interesting lobby card! Sometime between 1935 and 1939 Monogram Pictures re-released their mid-1930s John Wayne movies (which had been produced by Lone Star). They created "stock" one-sheets and inserts with a generic image of John Wayne, with a large blank area which they overprinted with names of specific Monogram movies they were re-releasing. But we did not know until now that they also created lobby cards for these re-releases that had John Wayne's name at the top, but did not have a movie name on them, and did not have a blank space (and these were sent to theaters showing the re-releases). Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. The card has overprinting in the top left. It had a snipe with a title of a specific film in the bottom right and someone removed the snipe and hand wrote "THE LAWLESS FRONTIER" in that area, and put grease pencil over the writing below that.
