a lot of 4 issues of La Revue du Cinema, a French film review magazine published in 1946 and 1947 (at least). Each issue had several illustrated scholarly articles about then current movies and stars, and some articles on classic films as well. It is surely a forerunner to the later French critical magazines like "Cahiers du Cinema". Note that offered here are the first four issues of this magazine, starting with volume 1 number 1! If anyone knows more about this magazine, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1940s.
