Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) The Return of Doctor X, the 1939 Vincent Sherman science fiction (sci-fi) mad scientist vampire monster horror mystery thriller starring Wayne Morris, Rosemary Lane, Humphrey Bogart (in one of the strangest roles of his varied career, in the title role as the mad doctor!), Dennis Morgan, John Litel, and Lya Lys NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: poor to fair. The entire card has darkened considerably. The card was cracked in half down the middle, but it is still together. The biggest defect in the card is paper loss in the bottom center of the image (see image below). There are also two large areas of paper loss in the bottom border and a smaller area of paper loss in the upper right of the image. There are stains, smudges, and areas of surface paper loss throughout the card, but much more in the borders than in the image area. Obviously, this card can be "rescued", but it would take a talented restorer, so please do not bid on this card unless you can accept it as is or are willing to pay to have it restored.
