She was born Dawn Eveleen Paris but her mother gave her the name Dawn O'Day early in her career. She changed her name to Anne Shirley during the summer of 1934 after she had been chosen to play the character with the same name in RKO's Anne of Green Gables. Some of her other movies include: City Girl, The Devil and Daniel Webster, Murder My Sweet, and Stella Dallas (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). She passed away in 1993 at the age of 75 AND James Ellison was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. He mostly appeared in B-westerns and he was often billed as Jimmy 'Shamrock' Ellison. Some of his movies include: Hop-a-long Cassidy, The Plainsman, and Last of the Wild Horses. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 83 AND Ruby Keeler was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. She was married to Al Jolson, and their marriage was partially the basis for the several versions of "A Star is Born" and "The Jolson Story" (but Keeler refused to allow the producers to use her name). Some of her movies include: Gold Diggers of 1933, Footlight Parade, 42nd Street, Wedding Planner, That's Dancing, and Dames. She passed away in 1993 at the age of 83. Condition: good to very good.
