An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Florenz Ziegfeld's Kid Boots, the 1926 Frank Tuttle silent romantic love triangle golfing sports comedy (Cantor's best friend is a golf pro who is mixed up with a gold digger, and he becomes a caddy so that he can break them up, with the help of his friend's real girlfriend, played by Clara Bow) starring Eddie Cantor, Clara Bow, Billie Dove, Lawrence Gray, and Natalie Kingston. Note that Eddie Cantor had been a major Broadway star prior to this movie, but this was his first movie appearance! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the snipe says that "those who have seen the early rushes of the picture predict a brilliant screen career for Mr. Cantor", and they were certainly correct! Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
