Vincent Blasco Ibanez' Blood and Sand, the 1941 Rouben Mamoulian Spain bullfighting matador toreador romantic love triangle melodrama ("The matador who defied death... for love!"; "Tyrone Power in Vicente Blasco Ibanez' Blood and Sand"; "Based on the novel by Vicente Blasco Ibanez"; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Linda Darnell, Rita Hayworth, Alla Nazimova (billed as "Nazimova"), Anthony Quinn, J. Carrol Naish, Lynn Bari, John Carradine, Laird Cregar, Monty Banks, Vicente Gomez, and George Reeves. Note that famous silent screen star Alla Nazimova came out of retirement in 1940 and made five movies from then to 1945, including this one!
