An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

My Little Chickadee, the classic 1940 Edward Cline cowboy western romantic love triangle screwball comedy ("Together for the first time!"; written by W.C. Fields & Mae West) starring Mae West, W.C. Fields, Joseph Calleia, Dick Foran, Donald Meek, Anne Nagel, Fuzzy Knight, Margaret Hamilton, Ruth Donnelly, and Jackie Searl (as the Boy). Note that this was the only movie that these two legends appeared in together, and naturally, it was a battle of wills between them, with each wanting a bigger part (which was intensified because they wrote the script together!). This movie has some of the most legendary comic scenes ever, including Fields in a poker game, "romancing" Mae West, etc.

Condition: very good. three pinholes each in the top and bottom borders; some smudges and a few light stains around the edges of the card; tiny surface paper loss in two corners; a diagonal crease in the bottom left corner; a 1/2" tear in the left of the bottom border; a few faint scuffs around the edges of the image area; the actual image area of the card is in quite nice condition. I would think any collector would be quite happy to display this great card as is, but of course, any talented restorer could restore the minor border defects, and the card would look wonderful and it would have virtually no paint anywhere in the image area!
