If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds, with small tears and small paper loss on parts of several folds, and pinholes and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed it onto a thin linen and performed somewhat adequate restoration, although you could see some signs of it. However, after it was backed, it was roughly handled, which resulted in a line of very noticeable creases down the center of the poster, 1 1/2" to the left of the vertical fold (see our image). If I owned this poster, I would surely have it properly re-backed, but bear in mind its considerable defects before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
