Pitch In For Victory, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) War Bonds poster encouraging citizens to buy war bonds, and featuring a bullseye target surrounded by art of a soldier, a sailor and factory workers. This poster could be used as a contest to give away War Savings Stamps. The War Savings Stamps introduced during World War II were released in five different denominations - 10 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents, one dollar, and five dollars. These stamps were purchased at face value and earned no interest. Individuals accumulated their war savings stamps in various collection booklets, and filled booklets could later be used to purchase Series E war bonds. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some light creases throughout but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition!
