An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Henry Armetta was an Italian actor from the 1910s to the 1940s. Some of his movies include: Speed ot Burn, Top of the Town, Caught in the Act, and Viva Villa! He passed away in 1945 at the age of 57. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Henry Armetta! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that our consignor runs a memorabilia store, and the granddaughter of Mabel Young, who was a Paramount and MGM make-up artist in the 1930s and 1940s, sold him a collection of signed deluxe stills that her grandmother had acquired from MGM and Paramount stars when she worked at those studios. He has no certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain these signatures are authentic, and that the photos are original to the 1930s and 1940s (and since the woman who obtained the signatures worked at the studio, it makes it all that more certain that the stars actually signed them, and many of them are personalized "To Mabel"). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
