Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation and a few tiny tears on parts of the foldlines. It had pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but at some point after it was backed, it became water stained along the bottom edge, which caused brown stains in the bottom excess linen, and in seven small areas in the bottom border of the poster (any restorer could touch up those stains without re-backing the poster).
