An Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #1 (The Ship of Fire) Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Isle Of Sunken Gold, the 1927 Harry S. Webb silent South Seas island treasure adventure serial ("A thrilling adventure of the South Seas"; about a sea captain who has half of a treasure map and an island princess has the other half, and they both want the treasure!) starring Anita Stewart, The Devil-Ape of Bomo ("Mysterious missing link"), Duke Kahanamoku ("World's Champion swimmer"; who was a legendary Hawaiian five-time Olympic medalist and actor who is credited with popularizing the sport of surfing), Bruce Gordon, Evangeline Russell, and Curtis 'Snowball' McHenry. Note that this is a (mostly) lost serial and some sites credit Duke Kahanamoku as the Devil-Ape while others do not, but we have seen a single lobby card from this movie that has border art of Kahanamoku, and wacky art of what is likely "the Devil-Ape", so we know for sure he was in the movie, but we don't know what part he played (and possibly he could have been the "Devil-Ape"!). Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are some faint smudges, creases, tiny stains, and tiny tears around the edges, with small paper loss in the top left blank corner. Otherwise, the card is in pretty good condition.
