Important Added Info: Note that Italian posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in Italy, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1946 (like the vast majority of 1940s Italian posters, it is an unusual size, because it does not seem that Italian printers settled on the "regular" sizes until the 1950s. Also note that this Italian poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. WE have only auctioned this poster once before, and now that very same poster has been reconsigned to us for this auction, so it is still the only example we have ever auctioned!
