The poster features cool montage artwork of a soldier in a VERY colorful uniform, beating a drum, surrounded by Roman landmarks, including the Colosseum, by noted travel poster illustrator David Klein! Artist: David Klein Important Added Info: Note that the "Up Up and Away TWA" tagline was first used in 1967 and lasted about a year. "Up, Up and Away" was pop song most famously sung by the Fifth Dimension, and an advertising agency came up with the idea of using it to promote TWA. It was a hit but there was a lawsuit over the use of the song, and when that was settled, TWA had switched advertising agencies. Also note that there are diff styles of this poster (this particular one does not have the word "JETS" at lower right) but we are offering that poster with the different tagline in a separate auction! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has creases around the edges and some fine creases at top. It has darkened on back by approximately 6" but not on the front.
