An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Tough as They Come, the 1942 William Nigh New York City teen juvenile delinquent crime comedy starring the Dead End Kids and the Little Tough Guys (including Billy Halop, Huntz Hall, Gabriel Dell, and Bernard Punsly), Paul Kelly, Helen Parrish, Ann Gillis, and Clarence Muse. Note that the Dead End Kids series was starting to run out of steam by the time this movie was made, and they joined with their splinter group, The Little Tough Guys, for this movie, in the hopes that seeing all the originals together would bring out more of their fans! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two in all our years of auctioning and the last time was in 2009! Note that we were consigned a collection of posters and lobby cards from movies related to the Dead End Kids and the many sequel groups they appeared in, like the Bowery Boys. These were collected by one person in the 1970s, and it would take a lifetime to reassemble this collection, but all of these 160 items (which include many lobby card sets in single auctions) will have new owners when these auctions end! Condition: fair to good. The poster is rippled throughout. It has many scuff marks and smudges in portions of the lower quarter and some above the lower horizontal fold (see our image). It has pinholes around the edges (some are torn or enlarged due to rough removal and some are repaired with tape from the back at top). After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
