Important Added Info: Note that this is one of seven lobby cards from "It's a Wonderful Life" we are auctioning this week on eBay (in seven separate auctions). Each of the cards had several pinholes in each corner and some in the center of the borders (in some, the pinholes were mostly only in the blank borders, and in some, they were in the edges of the image background), and the collector who owned them had them backed on to a light paper backing, and then had professional restoration performed to touch up the pinholes and whatever other defects each card contained. Each of the cards now display quite nicely (although you can see signs of the restoration from inches away). Each of the cards is slightly "bowed", but of course, that will not show if the card is displayed, and the "bowing" will disappear over time as the cards are laid completely flat. I would think most collectors would be quite happy to display any of these great lobby cards on the wall. Condition: very good. There were many pinholes around the edges. There were some light smudges throughout the card, more so in the light background areas. There were two small circular water stains near the middle of the bottom credits area. There were some creases, tears, smudges, and tiny areas of paper loss in the blank borders. The person who restored the card performed pretty minimal restoration to the image area, and did inpainting in the blank areas of the borders, to "even them out". You can still see signs of the smudges in the light background areas from inches away, but from any distance, they are not very noticeable or distracting. I personally prefer this sort of restoration to the kind where the restorer makes the lobby card look "perfect", because when that is done, the cards require LOTS of inpainting, and often have a "dipped in paint" look which I hate. I don't see that there is anything wrong with seeing slight signs of imperfections in a 60 year-old collectible item (after all, one could display a facsimile lobby card, and that would look REALLY perfect!).
