Wells' The War of the Worlds, the classic 1953 Byron Haskin science fiction (sci-fi) Martian extraterrestrial alien invasion action thriller ("From the ends of the universe... they are reaching for YOU!"; produced by George Pal; loosely based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells; about seemingly unstoppable aliens invading the Earth) starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, Les Tremayne, Robert Cornthwaite, Lewis Martin, and Ann Codee NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. It had a partial extra horizontal fold 1/2" above the regular middle one and a diagonal fold just below the right half of the top horizontal fold. It had pretty minor wear on the folds. It had a 1 1/2" tear in the right of the top border, with some creases near it. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. All of the above defects were well corrected during the linenbacking process, and the poster displays really well! Learn More about condition grades
