An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Folded Italian Locandina Movie Poster (measures 12 1/2" x 27 1/2" [32 x 70 cm]) (Learn More) Marcelino pan y vino (released in the U.S. as "The Miracle of Marcelino" and in other English-speaking countries as "Marcelino"), the 1955 Ladislao Vajda Spanish/Italian religious orphan comedy melodrama (about an orphan baby who is taken in by a monastery, and when he becomes six years old, he goes in the attic and finds a statue of Jesus, and he gives it food, and the statue comes to life and tells him he can have anything he wants, and he asks to see his deceased mother!) starring Pablito Calvo (in the title role as Marcelino), Rafael Rivelles, Antonio Vico, Juan Calvo, Jose Nieto, Antonio Vico, Juan Calvo, Jose Marco Davo, Juanjo Menendez, and Adriano Dominguez. This movie received glowing reviews when it was first released, but it seems to be pretty forgotten today, which seems sad! Artist: Averardo Ciriello Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster was kraftbacked.
