What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges, with a 7" vertical tear in the top center, extending into the top of the flag. It had some creases, small tears, and small paper loss scattered throughout, including in the center, in the girl's waist. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
