An Original Vintage Sales Manual Binder (measures 10" x 11 1/2"; 51 pages) (Learn More) Pathe Exchange Sales Manual, the 1931 sales manual created by Pathe Exchange Incorporated. This particular sales manual is for Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus, Ohio. Apparently, they created a different one of these manuals for each "territory". Each manual had the same binder (which is a 3-ring binder), and then inside the binder are a large number of 8 1/2" x 11" sheets that were put into the binder, and each gives a complete directory to all the theaters within that territory, telling what city they were in, the address of the theater, the equipment they had, the seating capacity of the theater, and who at each theater signed contracts to display movies! One can certainly see that this sales manual would be incredibly valuable to someone who worked for Pathe, wanting to go around and visit as many theaters as they could (and no doubt focusing on the biggest and best theaters). There were surely a great number of these manuals created, but the only one we have ever auctioned is the one for these three cities in Ohio (if we ever get another, we will update this description!). Condition: very good. The binder has some minor wear and the first interior page has darkened, but overall, the binder has survived in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
