An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Foreign Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More)

Downhill Racer, the 1969 Michael Ritchie Winter Olympics skiing sports melodrama ("How fast must a man go to get from where he's at?"; "Written by James Salter"; based on the novel by Oakley Hall) starring Robert Redford, Gene Hackman, Camilla Sparv, Joe Jay Jalbert, and Tom J. Kirk. Note that early publicity items on this movie refer to it as "The Downhill Racer", yet we have never seen any poster reference it as anything other than "Downhill Racer".

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was stamped "FOR" which means it was printed for use outside the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "DOM" for use within the United States). Often, the "FOR" posters would have a different (sometimes racier) image than that for the one used in the United States. This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections.

Condition: good to very good. tape stains and some discoloration along the foldlines at upper center; minor separation at some of the crossfolds as well as some small tears along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster; minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines)
