Artist: Al Hirschfeld Important Added Info: Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away last year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca. Condition: fair to good. There is light rippling and discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture. There are some pinholes around the edges. Some of them are torn or enlarged due to rough removal. There are many tears of varying lengths in the upper and lower edges. There is separation in some of the crossfolds and ends of some foldlines. There are small bits of paper loss along some parts of the foldlines and/or crossfold(s) (more so in the upper vertical foldline).
