Important Added Info: Note that John Wayne had his first chance at stardom in 1930 with "The Big Trail", and when that was not successful, he spent a few years in minor roles, and then became a major B-western star, and stayed that way until 1939, when he made "Stagecoach" and became a major star. At that point, all of his mid 1930s B-westerns were re-released, and no doubt that adds to the rarity of original lobby cards from those movies (many times, original movie paper from movies with quick re-releases is scarce, and B-western lobby cards from the mid 1930s were always scarce anyway, because few theaters likely ordered them). Original 1936 one-sheets and lobby cards from this movie are not as scarce as the one-sheets from other 1930s John Wayne titles, but the other sizes (insert, half-sheet, and window card) are incredibly scarce. We have never had any of those three sizes until now! Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster was folded once in each direction and has creases on the horizontal fold, with a lesser amount on the vertical fold. It has pinholes around the edges and two below Wayne's eye, with one near the center of the poster and one in the middle of the right of the poster. There are some faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the poster and a 1/2" scratch in the lower right of the image. There was a 1" tear in the right of the bottom border that was repaired with tape from the back and a 1" scratch mark slightly to the right of that. In spite of the above basically pretty minor defects, the poster will display great just as it is, or certainly, the new owner might choose to have some restoration performed, but either way, this great poster will look wonderful on the new owner's wall!
