An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) The Colossus of New York, the 1958 Eugene Lourie New York City robot-with-a-human-brain science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Based on a story by Willis Goldbeck") starring John Baragrey, Mala Powers, Otto Kruger, Robert Hutton, Ross Martin, Charles Herbert (as the small boy), and Ed Wolff (in the title role as the Colossus!) Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this very rare poster in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has creases and scuffs scattered throughout (see our image). There is moderate fold and border wear and there is separation in several crossfolds, and along a large area of the lower vertical foldline at left, and those areas are backed with masking tape that slightly bleeds through to the front. After proper restoration the very rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
