An uproarious riot.";"Aaron Hoffman's Great Comedy Hit"; "From the play 'Two Blocks Away' by Aaron Hoffman"; the first of the hugely popular series of movies about an Irish girl who marries a Jewish boy and their difficulties in bringing their families together) starring George Sidney (as Jacob Cohen), Charles Murray (as Patrick Kelly), Vera Gordon (as Mrs. Cohen), Kate Price (as Mrs. Kelly), Olive Hasbrouck, Nat Carr, Mickey Bennett, Jason Robards Sr., and Robert Gordon. Note that while George Sidney played the same role in all the entries in this series, in 1929, Mack Swain took over the part of Mr. Kelly from Charles Murray, but in all the earlier entries of the series, it was Charles Murray who played that part.
