In the 1940s, she worked for Universal and appeared in some of their horror movies! Some of her movies include: How Sweet It Is, The Lost Tribe, House of Frankenstein, and Rainbow Island. She is likely best remembered for her role as "Consuelo" on TV's "Marcus Welby, M.D." in the 1970s. She was married to Charles Marion, who was a writer at Universal in the 1940s. Verdugo passed away in 2017 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this script has been personally autographed (signed) by Elena Verdugo (she signed it in 1995, but this IS an original 1944 continuity & dialogue script)! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
