Gen Paul was a French painter and engraver from the 1920s to the 1970s. During World War I, he served in the French army, losing one of his legs. The injury inspired the artist to return to painting, after having shown a talent for drawing as a child. His works can be found in numerous museums and exhibitions around the world. Paul passed away in 1975 at the age of 79.
