An Original Vintage Movie Script (measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" [14 x 22 cm], 92 pages) (Learn More) Kubo and the Two Strings, the 2016 Travis Knight stop-motion animation animated cartoon fantasy adventure ("The quest begins") featuring the voices of Rooney Mara, Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey, Ralph Fiennes, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, George Takei, and Art Parkinson (in the title role as the voice of Kubo) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this script is from January 5, 2016 and the screenplay was written by Marc Haimes & Chris Butler. Studios would send examples of their scripts to screenwriters who were members of the Motion Picture Academy, so that they would be more likely to vote for that screenplay to be nominated for the "Best Screenplay" Oscar. They used to send actual regular scripts, but in recent years, they have switched to creating small professionally bound versions of the scripts that measure 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", and resemble softcover books. This script does NOT have "FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION" printed anywhere on it (it almost surely originally came with a letter from the studio that produced the movie, but if so, that letter is no longer present), and it was sent to a famous director/screenwriter because the producers of the movie wanted to convince him to vote to nominate this script for Best Screenplay.
