Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Famous Boners, the 1942 Douglas Foster fictionalized historical documentary short (produced and narrated by John Nesbitt; one of the long-running "John Nesbitt's Passing Parade" series of shorts produced by MGM; this particular short dealt with three people who had either caused or were the victims of gigantic errors, included are Thomas Carlyle, George O'Flanagan, and Isaac Newton, the famous physicist, but we don't know anything more about this short beyond that) starring Ian Wolfe, Edward McWade, Edward McWade, Joe Yule, and Margaret Bert. Note that this was one of a series of 64 short subjects produced and narrated by John Nesbitt, made between 1938 and 1949, and distributed by MGM. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Condition: very good. The poster had restoration in the white background areas, but it appears to have had next-to-no restoration in the titles or image, with the exception of the bottom of the "P" of "PASSING".
