An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Jungle Menace, the 1937 Harry L. Fraser African jungle safari adventure serial ("A Million Thrills"; "Smashing Jungle Monsters and Beasts in Human Form!"; based on stories by Dallas M. Fitzgerald, Arthur Hoerl, and George M. Merrick) starring Frank Buck (famed jungle explorer), Sasha Siemel (billed as "Sasha Siemel the tiger man"), Reginald Denny, Charlotte Henry, Esther Ralston, William Bakewell, Clarence Muse, LeRoy Mason, Richard Tucker, Duncan Renaldo, and Gertrude Sutton. Note that in 1946, a feature was created out of large portions of this serial with some added footage and the resulting movie was titled "Jungle Terror". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that this still likely has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has the letters "TRR". One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that 146 of the stills in this set of auctions come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of almost his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! We said earlier "likely has", because while this collector stamped most of his stills, he did not stamp every one, so you can see for yourself if this is one of the stamped ones by looking at our image of the back of the still. Each of those stamped stills are stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us!
