An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Man About Town, the 1939 Mark Sandrich romantic love triangle musical comedy (Benny is a producer who brings his show to London, and he ignores his girlfriend/star, and they get involved with a noble English couple in the same situation, and both females do their best to make their better halves jealous) starring Jack Benny, Dorothy Lamour, Edward Arnold, Binnie Barnes, Phil Harris, Betty Grable, Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson, E.E. Clive, featuring Matty Malneck & His Orchestra, and Monty Woolley. Note that the woman on the left of the one-sheet poster looks like it should be Betty Grable, but she was 7th billed and only appeared in a minor role, singing one song, so it has to be Binnie Barnes, who is the second female lead, and part of the romantic love triangle with Jack Benny and Dorothy Lamour. Important Added Info: Note that this great candid shows Joe DiMaggio visiting the set of Man About Town, and the information on the back says that he "didn't hesitate to ask Dorothy Lamour for her autograph" (and we wouldn't be surprised if she asked him for HIS autograph!). Also note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and scuffs scattered around the edges of the still, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. Learn More about condition grades
