A 1952 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Laura, the classic 1944 Otto Preminger (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic love triangle crime film noir ("The story of a love that became the most fearful thing that ever happened to a woman!"; "Adapted from the novel by Vera Caspery"; about a detective investigating the death of a gorgeous woman, and he wishes he could have known her, and then it turns out she's not dead after all!) starring Gene Tierney (in the title role as Laura Hunt), Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Vincent Price, Judith Anderson, and Lane Chandler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this classic romantic film noir was re-released in 1952, but the 1952 re-release lobby cards are FAR more rare than the 1944 originals (this is only the third 1952 re-release title card we have ever auctioned)! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are two tears in the upper left corner that extend into the brown background, and a tear in the lower left border that extends through Tierney's wrist, and someone put pieces of brown paper tape on the back of those areas. There are pairs of staple holes, faint stains, smudges, and a few tiny creases around the edges, with a tiny bit of paper loss in the bottom right blank corner. There are two pieces of tape on the back of the center of two borders, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose.
