An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Sabrina (released in other English-speaking countries as "Sabrina Fair"), the 1954 Billy Wilder (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic love triangle poor girl/rich man comedy ("Three Academy Award Stars in Their Greatest Roles"; "From the play by Samuel Taylor"; "Written for the screen by Billy Wilder, Samuel Taylor, and Ernest Lehman") starring Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Sabrina Fairchild), William Holden, Walter Hampden, John Williams, Martha Hyer, Joan Vohs, Marcel Dalio, and Ellen Corby NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had very minor wear on the foldlines and tiny paper loss in the vertical foldline in the bottom credits area in the "W" of larger "BILLY WILDER" credit and in the 1" above it. The name of the movie was written on the back of the bottom of the vertical foldline in tiny letters in the yellow background between the figures, and it had bled through to the front. There was small paper loss in the right vertical foldline in the background area to the right of the "R" of the big "BILLY WILDER". There was some scribbled grease pencil marks on the back of the bottom center of the poster in the yellow background to the left of Holden in the car that bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. It clearly had less than usual separation, creases, and paper loss on the foldlines and crossfolds than most 50 year old three-sheets! The person who restored the poster did some touch up to the defects described above, and they are really only noticeable on close inspection.
