An Original 2020 (from the first release of this movie in the U.K.) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Teaser British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Gisaengchung (released in English-speaking countries as "Parasite"), the 2019 Bong Joon Ho (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) South Korean society horror comedy melodrama ("A film by Bong Joon Ho"; "Act like you own the place"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Song Kang Ho, Lee Sun Kyun, Cho Yeo Jeong, Choi Woo Shik, Park So Dam, Lee Jung Eun, and Chang Hyae Jin. Note that this is the first film in a foreign language to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, as well as the first movie to win the awards for both Best Picture and Best International Film! Artist: La Boca Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned this double-sided British Quad poster with artwork by La Boca (and that single example sold for $775!). Note also that this is a teaser British quad (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Also note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: good. The poster has a tear at lower center that has been repaired with tape from the back. It has light creases scattered throughout, tiny and fine creases at left and right, and it was lightly and partially folded back vertically at right. Despite the defects the poster could still display well from a reasonable viewing distance, but see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this poster prior to placing a bid.
