After appearing in hugely successful movies, including The Wanderers, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Animal House, she seemed poised to have a hugely successful career, but she has since only occasionally appeared in movies, surely by her own choice, including in Starman, and Places of the Heart. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Karen Allen! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! The consignor of this autographed item (and a number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase.
