Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had some small tears and tiny paper loss in parts of the borders, with larger paper loss in the lower right blank border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Unfortunately, after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and it is not folded backwards across the upper center, and both the poster and the linen are completely folded there, and that has caused a crack in the poster there. Please bear this in mind before bidding on this very rare poster.
