A Vintage Hardcover Book (measures 6 1/4" x 9 1/4" [16 x 23 cm]; 1064 pages) (Learn More) Film Daily Yearbook of Motion Pictures, the 1941 book with information and statistics from all facets of the film industry. Included is the comprehensive list of actors and actresses and their credits from the just concluded years of 1940-41. Also included are detailed lists of industry personnel and production companies as well as much information about distribution. Note that very clever poster dealers have used these yearbooks to find out exactly where there were movie theaters in their area (and the surrounding states) and they have contacted the former owners of those theaters (or their heirs), and have found many great finds of movie posters in that way! Of course, we can't guarantee that will work for YOU, but it sure seems worth a try! Important Added Info: Note that in March of 2016, we were consigned a collection of 39 Film Daily Yearbooks that were mostly from 1930 to 1970, with one from 1926, and we auctioned those, and they sold for high prices overall, including one that auctioned for $305! NOW WE HAVE BEEN CONSIGNED A DIFFERENT COLLECTION OF 38 OF THESE, and these range from similar years, but this collection includes the yearbooks from 1923, 1924, and 1925! If one were to collect these one by one, it would likely take them many years to accumulate all of these, but these 38 can all be purchased in this single set of auctions! Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. Condition: very good to fine.
