A Linenbacked French Advertising Poster (measures 46 1/2" x 64 1/4" [118 x 163 cm]) (Learn More) Perrier is a French brand of naturally carbonated bottled sparkling mineral water made from the Les Bouillens spring in the town of Vergeze, France. The spring was purchased by Dr. Louis Perrier in 1898 and turned into a commercial spa. Perrier is now owned by Nestle and is available in 140 countries. Artist: Bernard Villemot Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded and had a few scuffs around the edges and some scattered in the art. Sadly, it was backed onto a thin linen with no excess and then roughly handled, and there are now more scuffs in the left border and the bottom 2" of the poster became wet and the excess linen is separating from the poster, and the poster has stains and creases in that area. This is a significant defect, so bear this in mind before placing a bid on this really cool poster. Learn More about condition grades
