An Original Vintage Folded World War I Poster (measures 19 3/4" x 30" [50 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) Liberty Loan V, the 1919 U.S. post-World War I (WWI) War Bond poster ("Wear your button") encouraging people to purchase Victory Liberty Bonds, and featuring art of a button which people could wear to show that they had purchased the bonds. Note that there were 4 Liberty Bonds from 1917 to 1918, followed by a Victory Liberty bond in 1919. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed. The purpose was to reinforce the poster, so that it would survive, when it was passed from theater to theater, and when it was put up on walls and taken down. Such posters can be professionally removed from the original linen and placed on to a proper linen backing. It has several light scuffs scattered in various areas (see our image).
