Newmeyer silent romantic love triangle boxing sports comedy ("It's a Universal"; "story by Frederick and Fanny Hatton"; a cute movie about a young boxer who is about to fight for the light heavyweight championship; the night before, he meets a pretty young Italian girl, and she chastely spends the night in his apartment, but in the morning, the boxer's manager convinces her that she is a bad match for the boxer, so she leaves; the boxer is miserable, and at his match, he is getting beaten badly, but then the girl's brother comes and tells the boxer during the match that his sister does love him and he should stop her arranged marriage, at which point the boxer immediately knocks out his opponent and then runs to the wedding, where he marries the girl instead!) starring Reginald Denny, Betsy Lee, Sam Hardy, Harvey Clark, and Corliss Palmer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a light paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (it means that the poster must be handled carefully, as the backing does not give it much added strength, but it is similar to having an unrestored poster, and yet it has been properly preserved). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Prior to paperbacking, the card was fragile and had darkened. It had creases and tears around the edges and some scattered in the image. Overall, the card was in good condition prior to paperbacking. Someone simply backed the card to preserve it, but they did next to no restoration, and since it has been backed, it has acquired defects in three corners, and a crease in the bottom right corner (see our image).
